Climbing in Lagos

If you wish to do some easy climbing in Lagos, there is a picturesque area just 15 minutes away, overlooking the small agricultural town of Bensafrim.

This small site is the perfect place for beginners. It’s composed of around 15 easy limestone routes (graded between IV+ and 6a+) up to 15 meters high.

Despite being the smallest climbing area in the region, it provides one with a great feeling of exposure, as the routes start at around 50 meters above sea level. As a result, we get superb views over the surrounding countryside, green rolling hills, as well as small countryside towns.

On the whole, rock climbing at this location is not intimidating and pretty ideal to refresh skills or get introduced to the sport. Furthermore, this is a beautiful and easy access location.

Climbing in Lagos is possible all year round and there are enough routes for a couple of half-days or a full day of climbing.

We keep our sessions private or take a maximum of 4 climbers per instructor, so we can adapt to everyone’s needs and abilities.

This translates into organic rock climbing sessions where we can take care of all the technical details or coach you with total flexibility.

Besides, we also love to focus on the mental side of the sport. For the same reason, we can’t wait to help you succeed and improve both technically and mentally!

To sum it up, if you want to try rock climbing in Lagos and enjoy a safe, yet adventurous experience, let us know!
